口唇裂と口蓋裂（唇裂，みつくち）の手術

農村に住む夫婦の子どもであるリタは，4歳になるが，口唇裂と口蓋裂に苦しんでいました。

IIMCは，Maurice Gillieron医師のサポートによって，整形外科手術を行いました。この手術は成功し，子どもはよくなりました。

このようなサポートをしていただいたGillieron医師に感謝いたします。

現在，リタは口唇裂と口蓋裂がない状態を喜んで見せにきます。彼女にはもう食べるときや話すときの困難はありません。彼女は健全な状態にあり，自信が出てきています。

貧しい状況にある子どもたちへ洋服を！

父親をなくしたスポンサーシップ・プログラムを受けている子供たちに洋服を渡しました。2005年10月1日のことです。IIMCのインドア・センターでMr. Serjioとその他の海外からのボランティアによっておこなわれました。

今回は，60着のサリー，80着のTシャツ，（ヒンズーのお祭りドゥラガ・プージャとイスラムのお祭り用として）100着のドレスを配布しました。すべての子供たち，母親たちは，お祭りを前にしてすばらしいプレゼントをもらい非常にうれしそうでした。

This is our great pleasure to know that we have received one prestigious award called "Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity" from Italian Govt. which will be given by Italian Foreign minister in a ceremony on 6th July at 7 P.M. at the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi.

This award is dedicated to all of our friends and families and to all IIMC members.

It is you and all our friends who are continuously giving all time and dedication to improve the situation of poor people.

This award is not only for IIMC but for all friends of our IIMC mission.

Surgery for Cleft Lip and Plate

Surgery for Cleft Lip and Palate

Rita, who is a four years old girl of a rural poor couple, was suffering from Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate.
IIMC with the support of Dr. Maurice Gillieron arranged the reconstructive surgery. The surgical invention is fully successful and the child is completely normal.
Thanks to Dr. Gillieron for his kind support for giving this generous support.


She is so proud and glad to show us no more problem, no more difficulty to eat and to speak.


She looks so well and fully confident for a beautiful future.

Clothes Distribution Among Poor

We distributed new clothes and dress among our poor sponsored children who lost their fathers to the widow women on 1st October 2005, in presence of Mr. Serjio and other foreign volunteers at our indoor centre.

We distributed 60 pieces of sarees, 80 pieces of T-shirts, and 100 pieces of girl dresses for Hindu Festival Durga Puja and Muslim ID. All those children and women are very happy to get this nice gift for festival.

ハトガチャ小学校

ハトガチャ（Hatgacha）は，コルカタから30Km西に位置する農村です。90％の人々は，魚を取るか，小さな池で魚の養殖をしています。
ここの人口のほとんどは，下層階級で，経済的には非常に貧しい状況です。そのため，教育の機会などありません。そもそも，この地区には学校すらありませんでした。
IIMCはこの農村を6年前に見つけました。そして，すぐさま小学校前の教育プログラムを開始しました。
この地区で3年間の教育プログラムを実施して，学校を小学校に改築し，同時にマイクロ・クレジットプログラムを開始する必要性を痛感しました。マイクロ・クレジットプログラムは，バングラディシュで始められた貧しい人々を対象としたグラミン銀行と同じようなプログラムです。そして，教育を受けさせるためのスポンサーシッププログラムも開始することにしました。

学校は竹で作られているため，徐々に壊れていきます。また，モンスーンの季節になると，子供たちが教室内にとどまっていることは大変危険です。
イタリアの友人とプロジェクト・カルカッタ ONLUSのサポートによりこの農村に新しい学校が建設されることになりました。

この村のすべての子供たちがここで勉強することができます。この農村の状況は変わりました。すべての人に発展の機会がきます。

HATGACHA Primary School

Hatgacha one rural village is situated 30km east from Kolkata in a very remote area, 90% people are fishermen and living on fish cultivation on their small pond and in a sallow water in their neighourhood. Most of this population are backward class and economically very poor had no chance for education even there was no any school. IIMC discover this village 6 years before and immediately started education programme with a pre-primary school.

After 3 years in education programme in this area we felt this school should upgraded to a primary school and same time we started the micro-credit like the Grameen Bank and the children sponsorship for education.

The school was running in a bamboo house which was slowly melting and in monsoon period it is very difficult for the children to stay in the classroom.

Thanks to our Italian friends and the Projecto Calcutta ONLUS for their active support for construction a new school building for this village.

RAG DOLLS 2 LOVEからのプレゼント

　3ヶ月ほど前に、Rag Dolls 2 Love, IncのMay Page Jone代表からEメールをうけとりました。それは、貧しい子供たちのために、人形を送るというものでした。Rag Dolls 2 Love, Incのホームページは、http://www.ragdolls2love.org/です。
　そのニュースはすばらしいものでしたが、それがいつ実現できるのかについては知りませんでした。ところが、ほんの数日のうちに、6つの段ボール箱が届きました。その中に、新しい縫いぐるみの人形が入っていました。そのうえ、翌月には、縫いぐるみの人形の入った段ボールがさらに6つ届きました。
　早速、IIMCの病院でそのぬいぐるみ人形を子供たちに渡しました。
　Rag Dolls 2 Love, IncのMay Page Jone代表と関係者全員に感謝をします。このような方法で、子供たちは勇気づけられました。これからもこのような支援が続けられ、より多くの子供たちが微笑むことができることを願っています。

IIMC had an email from May Page Jone, RAG DOLLS 2 LOVE, Inc, with the message that IIMC will get some dolls for the poor children. It was great & beautiful news. Within a few days, IIMC received 6 boxes of new rag dolls followed by another 6 boxes in a month.
IIMC distributed to children in the IIMC hospital.

We distributed the dolls among all children in the indoor clinic and in the schools specially among the age group of 3 to 10 years.

11th Annual Sponsored Students Festival

The 11th Annual Student Festival was held on 15th January 2006 at the IIMC main centre, Tegharia, Sonarpur 24 PGS South, Kolkata, India. It started at 9 a.m. with a colourful big peace rally from the IIMC Indoor centre to the sports ground. There were 2000 sponsored students, 250 Indian & foreign volunteers, the board members, and local well-wishers all together walking in the peace procession.
